Two tier

Many brides require, and some brides choose, to incorporate the lifting of the wedding blusher, or top tier, during the ceremony. This originated as part of a religious tradition, but has increased in popularity through a multitude of cultures. The two tier veil also adds moderate volume to balance the shape and effect of a formal wedding dress and a fuller silhouette such as a ball gown or an A-line gown.

Our two tier veils allow one layer to be flipped back and forth and act as a blusher. However, you may choose to keep both layers in the back for their shape and never cover your face with a blusher. Through a custom designed veil, you can request either of the tiers to detach so that you can wear one tier instead of two for photos, reception, or whenever suits you. This offers more convenience and ease of movement without removing this essential bridal accessory.

A very contemporary silhouette of a two tier veil is the drop veil, or drop mantilla. This wedding veil is one large oval folded at the comb, and cannot be detached. There is no volume, or height at the top, making this a very sleek and sophisticated pattern. Alisa loves pairing a drop veil with mermaid gowns.

Alisa Brides offers a diverse array of two tier veils. From shoulder length veils to cathedral veils, you can choose any bridal accessory that will complement your bridal gown.
